Summary for Creators & Visitors: MyTshirt provides an on-demand merchandise creation and storefront widget for website owners. We only collect the minimal configuration data, logos, and slogans needed to render your custom merchandise mockups and synchronize your store. We never collect or store sensitive payment or banking data directly; all order fulfillment, customer billing, and manufacturing are securely handled by Zazzle Inc.

1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how MyTshirt ("App", "we", "us", or "our", operated by smilingoat / Ben Baler) collects, uses, and safeguards information in connection with our web application, Wix App Market integration, customer storefront widgets, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

  • Merchants / Website Owners: Individuals or entities who install and configure the MyTshirt app on their Wix or custom websites.
  • Store Visitors & End-Users: Visitors who view, interact with, or purchase custom merchandise through the MyTshirt widget embedded on Merchant sites.

2. Information We Collect

We adhere to data minimization principles and collect only the data necessary to provide our merchandising service:

A. Information Provided by Merchants:

  • Brand Artwork & Graphics: Image files (logos, illustrations, photos) uploaded by merchants or auto-detected from connected websites to generate custom product mockups.
  • Printed Text / Slogans: Text strings entered by merchants for product imprints and branding captions.
  • Store Customization Preferences: Selected button colors, background frame colors, border widths, overlay transparencies, product sequencing, and display counts (1 to 60 products).
  • Monetization & Store Identifiers: Optional 18-digit Zazzle Ambassador IDs (for referral commission routing) and custom Zazzle store names.
  • Platform Authentication Data: Wix Instance IDs and Component IDs provided via the Wix App SDK to bind settings to the appropriate website container.

B. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Technical & Device Data: IP address (anonymized where required), browser user agent, operating system, referrer URL, and timestamp.
  • Aggregate Interaction Metrics: Counter metrics tracking widget impressions (views), product-card clicks, and visits to our public marketing pages. These metrics are processed in aggregate form and do not track individual personal identities across unrelated websites.

C. Information We Do NOT Collect:

We do not collect, process, or store financial payment information, credit card numbers, billing addresses, or shipping addresses. All checkout and payment transactions take place directly on Zazzle's secure, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process collected data for the following lawful purposes:

  • To render real-time interactive merchandise mockups (T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, bags, hats, etc.) imprinted with Merchant logos.
  • To synchronize Merchant styling configurations to the public storefront widget embedded on Merchant websites.
  • To direct purchasing customers to the appropriate regional international Zazzle storefront (with associated referral tracking).
  • To provide Merchants with aggregate performance analytics (views, clicks, popular products).
  • To diagnose technical errors, prevent abuse, maintain server security, and optimize load speeds.

4. Third-Party Integrations & Global Fulfillment

Our service integrates with trusted third-party providers to deliver seamless global on-demand fulfillment:

  • Zazzle Inc.: Zazzle manages the physical manufacturing, printing, packaging, worldwide delivery, and financial checkout for all merchandise orders. When a user clicks a product to purchase, they are transferred to Zazzle. Purchases are governed by Zazzle's Privacy Policy.
  • Wix.com: For merchants using our Wix App Market integration, Wix provides platform hosting, user authentication, and subscription billing management under Wix's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 on our public marketing pages to understand aggregate visits and site performance. Google Analytics may use first-party analytics cookies and process technical information such as page URL, referrer, browser/device information, and approximate location under Google's Privacy Policy. We disable Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals in our tag configuration.
  • Amazon Web Services (Cloudfront CDN): We utilize secure Content Delivery Networks to serve static product imagery and stylesheets with low latency.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

MyTshirt utilizes essential session cookies and local storage parameters strictly necessary for the technical operation and visual state of the widget (e.g., remembering active product slot selections, preventing widget flicker during edits). Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies on our public marketing pages. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising-personalization signals, third-party advertising tracking cookies, or cross-site behavioral profiling.

6. Data Retention, Storage & Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security safeguards to protect your data, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit. Merchant configuration settings and uploaded logos are retained as long as the merchant maintains an active installation of the MyTshirt app. If a merchant uninstalls the app or requests data deletion, their associated configuration records are permanently purged from our active databases.

7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your geographic location (including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California), you possess specific statutory rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You may correct inaccurate or incomplete configuration data at any time via the app control panel.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request complete deletion of your uploaded graphics and account settings.
  • Right to Restriction & Objection: You may restrict or object to certain processing activities.
  • Non-Discrimination & "Do Not Sell My Info": We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
